Silentwind SPRECO LDA.

Spreco LDA. is a Portuguese company with German management. It was founded in 1997. The owner of the company was specialized with several patented products as a main supplier for consumer electronics. After the decline of the European Television industry the company was reorganized and started working in the area of renewable energies and small wind generators.

We have 30 years of experience in handling small wind generators on sailboats under difficult conditions on the Portuguese coast and in crossing of the Atlantic. Under such conditions a safe and reliable power supply is absolutely essential.

Therefore Spreco has developed extremely low noise rotor blades which are fully made of hand-laminated carbon material. They were sold as replacement parts for the wind generators AIR MARINE © and AIR BREEZE © of the company South-West-Windpower in August 2008. Because of the big success of our rotor blades we decided to develop an appropriate wind generator for our rotor blades, which was introduced to the market in the 3rd quarter of 2010.
