Hand laminated, UV-resistant carbon blades, successfully tested according to DIN EN 61400-2 at hurricane speed 122 km/h (5480 rpm, with almost speed of sound at the blade tips).
The usual, standard blades from other manufacturers are made from granulate using injection molding techniques to achieve a fast production time, but lacking the durability especially after UV exposure associated with the potential risk of blade fracture. Our blades are handmade incorporating high tensile carbon fiber mats. This is a more labor intensive process resulting in an optimized blade profile.

» Hybrid Charge Controller
External hybrid micro-processor controller for wind- and solar-energy with multi-function display and integrated electronic/manual stop switch. Universal application for low, middle and high wind.
Adjustable maximum charging voltage for lead-acid-, GEL-, AGM- and Li-ion batteries. Braking process is electronically controlled. When either the voltage setpoint (say 13.8V) or the Amp setpoint (say 25Amps) has been reached the controller will brake the generator. That means by very strong wind the Silentwind will stop. There is also an integrated stop-switch for manual brake. Because the controller can be placed inside therefore there is no condensation problems.

The Hybrid Controller should be installed close to the battery and the user should have easy access to read the display and access the stop switch. The smart controller is programmable and displays all relevant operational data. It can be programmed for all types of batteries (Gel, AGM, Li-ion and acid), has an additional input for solar panels up to max 180W and has a controlled braking function. When the battery has been fully charged, Silentwind will slow down to an almost complete stop. Only when the battery has dropped below its voltage set point; Silentwind will start up and resume charging. This will protect the battery for over charging and will increase the lifespan. An integrated manual stop switch will brake Silentwind rotating. In addition there is a “user” output for a load up to 10Amps to charge electronic devices.
